Back to the transmission cooling, at least some of the earliest 99's didn't have a radiator cooler for the transmission. Ford replaced my radiator with the newer one which had the transmission cooler when they replaced my first transmission under warranty. If the truck doesn't have this I would consider it along with or maybe before the 6.0 cooler.
Nice info I will have to check that out also.
I pull an enclosed trailer, but I can not imagine it being 5k lbs total I would think less than that, however the box is 8' wide and almost 8' 6" in the center so close to 10' tall overall which I am sure produces alot of drag (takes me down to around 11 mpg) most of the time. I usually do not use the tow mode because I am mostly highway and at 70 mph I would be turning around 3k rpm. not sure what would be worse? All I know is I have burned out the overdrive twice now.
Thanks again for all the feedback I will try and look up that John Wood Valve Body also. Or maybe check out the place in Lead Hill and just have my cousin pick me one up.
OUT
Im for the standard analog gauges. John Wood Valve Body which comes with Transgo plate. Mad a big difference to my box. I also had a edge programmer and have just changed to DP Tuner. The Difference is un believable.
Gday mate,i noticed onya truck specs, you have a pod mentioned,is that a pillar pod,if so where di ya get it from..
i put edge's evolution on my 2000 f250, never had a problem yet and im running on 20k miles. i did have to custumize the shift points on it thou. it wanted to shift into overdrive at 40mph. my diesel mileage went up about 2mph in the race setting. if you put something like this on your truck and your trany gives out, it was going to happen anyways. and i read a lot about people having problems and needing reflashs at a dealer. never needed to do that either. im happy with my evo and performance-wise i cut 3 seconds off my 1/4 mile with this running with 35" tires.

If your happy mate, good onya,it dont mean **** what others say,its your truck, you do what your happy with....
i am happy with what the evo has boosted my truck up with, i am a little unhappy about the price i paid from buying right from edge. looking around for a new tuner soon, are DP tuners good? i did notice that it says it can add up 150 or 140 hp??? is that ture?

I would think that if you had the supporting mods, yes. If not, probably not.
