factory head lights to hid conversion kit?

Retrofitting the factory headlight assembly to HID is illegal and produces excessive glare to oncomming drivers. The optics of the assembly are designed for the halogen bulb not the HID bulb. Also with most kits you won't have high beams. Please don't do it. If you want brighter headlights then get a pair of relays from LMC and some good bulbs.

H4/9003/HB2 9004/9007 H13/9008 Hi/Lo Bi-Xenon HID Bulbs : eBay Motors (item 280477863228 end time Apr-11-10 23:12:29 PDT) 9004 or 9006 are your bulbs i believe. and the hid hi and low bulbs are what you neeed. all hi and low comes with relays

I meant get the relay kit for the halogen bulbs. It will give more power to your bulbs and take the load off of the headlight switch.
Also, if you lenses are cloudy or dull brighter light won't really help. They need to be polished back out or replaced. This stuff works good.

I agree with rla2005, the more blue the more annoying but all HID is annoying even the factory stuff.

The relay harness connects directly to one of the factory headlight connectors and then goes to each of the headlights. The kit is heavier gauge wiring. You don't have to buy anything else, except for maybe add a heavy duty 30 amp fuse to the hot wires.
Your truck probably has 9004 bulbs. I think that 9007 is for 92 up.
These kits are not 9004, you may have to ask the seller if they have one for your application. If you look in LMC Truck catalog it has the different years listed.
I have used this one and its a good kit. Its the same as the LMC kit.

Its simple you dont have to do any wiring. only connection is battery neg and pos and connecting one headlight connector. Real simple. And i agree with everyone as the k of the lights goes up the more anoying it looks 6000k is best imo
