Hey everyone. I have a 2005 Ford EB EXPY 4x4. We go camping / off roading pulling quads etc. Since we go in some dark areas, I have been thinking of upgrading the stock head lights with an HID conversion kit. I have added some after market driving lights into the front lower grill, and just want to get as bright as possible. Any one have any leads for an easy kit that works well both on road and off??

There are lots of HID kits on ebay but, I've heard that there are a lot of problems with them regarding light spread, blinding oncoming drivers as well as some state inspections will not pass them for various reasons.
I put a pair of cheap 6" or 7" driving lights from Northern Tool on my Ranger, since sold. They are great! They really light up the road and they came with 100 watt bulbs and they are pretty thin so they will mount on the bumper or brush guard. I think they only cost about $10 each and I know you can't buy 100w bulbs for much less than that.
