Ex Remote Start Directions

Hey Guys,
My Ex, came with this remote start and I think there is a factory alarm system (there is a led mounted)
Does anyone have instructions on how to operate these systems?
When I unlock the doors the lights flash 4 times, So I assume it is some sort of error code.

One day after work I showed up at my truck and the drivers side window was down, & I was testing the remote so I don't know if the remote caused this.
Some instructions would be great.

Would definitely help if you at least gave the make of the alarm/auto start. Might not be factory, look on the back and inside the fob to see who it's made by. If it is factory, the ford stealership should be able to help you.

That is the factory installed remote start. I have the same one on my 2001. I have the instruction manual for it. I'll have to take a look and see what the procedure is for resetting.
