so, when I was looking up under the center area of my dash, I noted that my truck did indeed have the keyless remote module up there with the little white antenna wire hanging out the side of it.
so, I ordered two original replacement remotes for it and I have followed a couple different sets of instructions from the internet on how to reprogram it.
but, the remote unit does not respond at all.
So, I was wondering if anyone out there knew exactly which fuse was involved in providing this unit power ?
I figured I could start from there.
so, i take it where the arrow is pointing to that says 'wires to jump', that is probably a connector that has two wires in it and you jump them together ???
i looked up there again, and i think they replaced my stock remote unit with a unit that may also be an alarm.
the unit is labeled by Clifford, which is an alarm company...it has a clear 2" square box with some diodes and other electrical parts in it, and there is a 2 way toggle switch over to the side.
