Truckers are subject to and regularly pulled over for safety inspections and in some dayum dangerous places at times. The dot in the us and canada safety inspections are tied together and reported to the same place.

About the doors, here in WV it reads something like if the doors were "designed to be removable from the factory" you are not required to have them in place.
So the Jeeps that have lift off doors are the only vehicle that gets inspected or runs around with no doors.
I think there are a couple more that fall into the classification, but right now the Jeep is the only one I can think of.
Well this may seem a little off topic, but i found a grille and hood on craigslist. 20 bucks for the grill and 30 for the hood. And the hood is blue to boot.
