lol T he bottom is 4" drill pipe the two centers and the topand sides are 2 3/8 upset tubint and the two uprights are i/2 inch steel. Oh yea and the winch moubt in the center is 5/8 steel, it doesn't give. lol
Got the ends bent around on it today. I cut the wedges out of it and stood it strait up and down in a vice and heated it with a rosebud. Had a buddy of mine stand on the table and put some pressure on it and she bent pretty easy. Now its just a matter of welding it back solid where i bent it and tracking down some pipe for the brushguard. I got some pics of it on my phone. Ill try to put them up later.
I got good news and bad news. The good news is my uncle is gonna pick up a fender and headlight and maybe a grille for me from another FTE member for 25 bucks. The bad news is dad took my camera cable with him when he went on the road yesterday, so no pics for a while lol
well got it started today easy enough. Pulled the rad away from the fan and was able to drive it. Fan really did a number on that radiator. I hope its repairable.
yea i really hope they can fix that rad at a decent price. If not its off to the jy to find one. Problem is theirs not many of these trucks in the junk. Most of them are still runnin around somewhere.
And plus, who the hell knows what your getting from the junkyard.
Personnally, I wouldn't buy that kind of part from a junk yard, i'm not cheap to that point lol. But when money is tight, I guess you got no choice for now.
