there is a way to make a friend quick, adopt him and dump him at the vet to get his nuts cut off and some needles stuck in him. sounds like a foundation for a lasting relationship to me.

Hey, are you talking about Big Joe getting married?
Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. Sorry it's taken so long for me to get on here.
The good news is that my wife is still happy & healthy, and the baby is due in 2 weeks.
The bad news is that my company is furloughing 14 (of 38) pilots and 5 (of 18) flight attendants. 5 captains will also have to be downgraded to first officers (meaning paycut). Sometimes things happen in seniority order, sometimes they don't, so we're basically all on pins & needles right now, which SUCKS. Keep your fingers crossed that I can make it through this without any changes. I'll be praying for myself and for all of my coworkers who are soon to be unemployed.
All this really makes me want to find a new line of work. There has to be something more stable than aviation.
Eazy there Bill! I already got my distemper shot! Lol. Sorry to hear our having problems there Rob. Like you needed anyore undue stress! Hope things turn Around for you.

Good Morning Arizona.
Bart, I think I did this the right way. But you can tell me if you disagree. I went & spent time with him then left. The Animal Control took him to the Vet in Fallon last night. Today I going down to rescue him from the Vets after those Officers did that to him. So I'm hoping to be seen as the hero in his eyes. The Animal Control Officers & I joked about this same thing yesterday.
We just called the Vet to see how he was & they said he was the love of the clinic. They said, everybody just loves him. He will be ready to go before days end. So I'm headed to Fallon to get some things done like get dog food & treats, pick up some parts etc.
Craig
Good Evening Arizona.
Tuffy is home & he has adjusted real well so far. He likes my couch, but seems to be willing to share. He appears to be house broke. He let us know he needed out. We had a knock on our door a few hours after he arrived home & he barked a few times & went to the door with me. I think he was left behind when someone moved or was abandoned. He appears to of lived in a house. He travels real well. He just laid down in the seat & every so often would sit up to look out side then lay back down. He comes when called & stays right with me outside without a leach. So it appears at this point that we may have less work ahead than we expected, which is great.
Craig
Cool Craig, sounds like Tuffy is going to be a winner!
I need to make a trip to San Diego but snow is predicted for the weekend so I'm thinking of putting it off for another week. Guess I'll wait till tomorrow and see what the forecast says then.
Yea Bruce that is a good idea. By Saturday everything could be different. Vici got an email from Lake Havasu wanting updated transcripts & references. They appear to be interested we will see.
