Good morning everyone. Clear & sunshine here today.
Vici keeps getting interviews lined up. Mohave Valley emailed her yesterday & she never even sent them anything this year. I guess last year she had sent an application & they wanted to know if she was still interested. So they set up an interview for her also.
Can someone tell us where we can get a decent but not expensive motel, in the Casa Grande, Red Rock or Northern Tucson area. What area or areas should we stay out of in Tucson or Casa Grande if any?
Thanks,
Craig
Good morning..... Craig, there is no where to stay in Red Rock. NW Tucson, Ina an I-10 and cotaro road at I-10 have some nice reasonable priced places to stay. super8, best western, etc...
Bart & Bill Thanks for the info. It looks like Casa Grande has a Super 8 on Florence that is $53/ night including tax, if I reserve it 8 days in advance. That is a good price IMO. Except Laughlin is $19/night Sun-Thur. @ the Colorado Belle. We have stayed there a lot over the years.
To be honest we are hoping either Mohave or Parker will commit to hiring her that is really where we would prefer. I'm not sure if I can live in a Metro Area like Phoenix/Tucson. Heck it is almost one city in the whole middle of the State. We are more rural folks. The pay is less in the Rural areas but life is slower. But we will have to see what happens. The other deal is in Casa Grande & Red Rock or any of that area I would have to mess with smog & I'm not sure I can get my 86 F250 smogged because of modifications over the years. The Blazer & Jeep should be no problem. I have been told that any OBD II system that isn't smoking out the exhaust & has no codes will pass most States tests.
We will see if Globe, Stanfield or Benson want to set up an interview. Is Benson a nice place? I have never been there I think we went by it on I-10 a few times. Globe might be a place of interest to us. It appears to be in the foothills & from the pictures I have seen it looks pretty neat.
