Nice day temp wise. Cloudy though.
Finished carpeting our RV. Glad to get it done. I have been waiting for a little nicer weather & thought I better take advantage of what we have.
Made a second trip to the hospital Friday night, but ... sent home again. My wife is so close to dropping that baby that the nurse even told us that kid has hair. But, he / she is not here yet.
In the meantime, we're enjoying the quiet and trying to keep my wife's spirits up. She spent most of Saturday feeling like a failure because the baby hadn't come out yet. I'm reminding her that our lil one will appear when the time is right, and that we can enjoy the fact that it's still quiet, and that we're lucky & blessed enough to even be in this situation. We have quite a few friends and family members who cannot get pregnant.
Keep your fingers crossed, pray for contractions, and we're open to any suggestions for speeding up the process. We've been told eggplant, balsamic vinegar, crab, pizza, and salty foods. And adult activity.
Have her move furniture around the house! My wifes water broke with our first at 37 weeks (so just a bit early) the apartment owner was having new carpet installed for us and she would not sit down and let me handle moving everything! I knew it was a bad idea.... but, it all worked out. know what i mean? lol
when my son was born my wife had driven the dump truck hauling brush and tree roots out of a field we were clearing, I could loan the dump truck to you if you need it, dang that dump truck is old! my son will be 18 in 8 days!
