My Grandma had it too... She became very mean and nasty near the end, and other times she was a riot! we all got a good laugh when she came out of her bedroom with her underware on the outside of her clothing, may God give her solace. she passed on 4-5 years ago. I feel lucky to have had all my Grandparents till i was almost 40 yo.

Hey Mark good to hear from you. Yea I went down to the Fla. Chapter looking for you. Hadn't heard from you for awhile. Sorry to hear about mom. That has to be a hard thing to live around.

Good evening everyone. Got my truck back today. What a difference. RPMs dropped at 65 MPH, about 200 RPM. Cooler water temp, higher oil pressure. The best of all gas mileage when from around 7.5 MPG to 10.4 MPG.
The Hughes Converter comes in at less RPM.
I have one minor problem maybe Bart or someone can comment on. In DRIVE. When you come to a stop if you don't stop completely it won't shift into first gear. A couple of times I had to put it in neutral then into DRIVE before it would shift down into first. Manually it shifts fine. This has a TransGo Reprogramming kit with the extra clutches etc. I wondered if screwing in the Vacuum Modulator a few turns might help. It seems to shift early like 15 MPH on light throttle.
Anyway, Any thoughts would be appreciated. Les the guy that did the work had never done this combo or the TransGo kits before. I figured at worse a sticky valve.
Anyway he is checking into it as I am.
