Weekend was good. Went to Stillwater for a few hours yesterday then helped a buddy move some wiring in his garage.
I have not had the bike out yet. Now that things are melted and kind of rinsed off I will start riding. I am getting old so it needs to warm up a bit in the a.m.
Well Jay you shold be able to start riding sooner than most out here cause you guys seem to be getting warmer weather than us out here. Only 37* out here today.
Lee did you ever get the picture thing figured out?

Troy, Have not had a chance to try it yet.
My brother in law came over yesterday, and he has a 97 F150 with the 4.6, and 197000 miles. Seems like we need to change plugs on it about every 15000 miles, or it starts to run really rough and almost dies at stop signs. We put the plugs in and runs good, but the old plugs look good too. If it was a bad wire, wouldn't it be there all the time? Any thought guys?
I told him to buy a new truck, I hate working on that 4.6.
Bad wire would give you that sympton all the time unless it is moisture related. Does not sound like that is your issue. I had a Dakota that loved spark plugs about every 20,000 if I remember correctly.
Jay, You had a Dakota, don't say too loud, remember my Dodge comment.
This truck is just wierd, he had a reapir shop tell him that a cylinder leaked antifreeze and that they would pull out the bad plug and swab out the antifreeze and it would fix the problem. He had that done three times between 80000 and 160000, then he told me about it and I thought he was a sucker. If it leaked that much it would blow white smoke, which it didn't and after the engine was running it would have burnt off the antifreeze. I have chenged te plugs three times now since 160000 and have never seen a plug issue. I hooked it up to a scanner and it had two misfire cylinder two codes, but plug looked good. I'm confused.
Geez Jay a Dakota . LOL Yeah Jay I did go a little crazy with the cab lights. There are 9 of them across the top all led with chrome bases and clear lens. Here is a crappy cell phone pic of them at night when I was hooked to the 5ver.
Lee I would have to agree with Jay that if it was a wire issue it should be there all the time. Have you ever changed the wires out? Maybe you should just to rule them out for sure. The antifreeze thing seems a little wierd too. Could the misfire have something to do with an injector?
What can I say. I was young and naive. It was actually a pretty good truck for me. I had a throttle body replaced under warranty and it liked spark plugs but other than that I only put maintenance items into it.
Nice pics guys can't wait to get out riding myself. Troy that guy is supposed to call u tonight. I don't know why he didn't call, he was one who told me he wanted to sell it. Everyone have a good night.
