adding a brake controller to a '10

Does anyone know if its possible to add the factory-style trailer brake controller to a new truck that doesn't have one? A truck I am looking at does not have one, and I wondered if it'd be a big deal to pop the stupid coin holder thing thats in its place out and install the TBC. And is the wiring already there for it?

Thanks

a quick search will bring up a few dozen threads answering this question in detail.

you will have to buy the module to go in the dashboard, buy a new master cylinder, and have a dealership change a setting in your PCM.

if this truck is brand new, make them put it in other wise factor in the cost to add the factory one to include labor and work a deal.

The factory setup imho is second to none.
