Hello,
I just bought a Teckonsia (spelling) brake controller for my 2003 F250 7.3 off e-bay. It was new and came with the Ford specific plug connection. I have the same brake controller in my Toyota and was happy with it's performance and ease of connection. The only problem I am having installing this one is I am not sure where the plug connection is located. Does anyone know where I can find the factory brake controller connection in my Ford that this brake controller plugs into?
It's a pain to get to, but if you search around on here you'll probably find a pic. You need to remove the big fuse panel door below the steering wheel, then look to the right toward the center of the cab inside that panel and it will be there. Not too far in, but just far enough you can't get your hand in there and still see what you're doing.
