When I doubled checked with tech department about the scan gauge manuel being the first manuel download on the download page, this is his reply:

That is the proper manual. The first time it may come on when plugged in. The best thing to do is plug it in when the vehicle is running and then turn the car off and see that it shuts down. Then turn the key on and see if it comes on as it should.

I loaded the powerstroke diesel logo from the gage. it comes on when you startup-looks kinda cool. Ya gotta keep scrolling found and ran the buzz test an CCT test (also way down the list) got some codes. looking for a code list. I'm sure I'll find one but P1111? any info appreciated
