Well, last night i wanted to put my left exhaust manifold on, but low and behold one of the flange bolts went and broke on me so today i spent an hour with a drill, torch and e-z outs trying to remove it. i got it out now tonight i will put it back on and take the truck on the first drive in 2 years.

Waiting for spring. But, I have been working on modifying an instrument cluster to make my autometer gauges fit. Have encountered a few issues but none to big of deal. Also, installed a CD player. After I get the dash work done, I'm going to change the oil and transmission fluid and then get some bigger mud flaps on so I don't keep chipping paint with rocks/gravel from my tires when I do drive it. I have many more things I want to do, but I'll just start right there. I'm just another one who has a truck that sits during the winter and only see's pavement. I kinda feel bad because I'm sure the truck would love to see some snow up here.

How much clearance do you have from the top of the rear tire to the bottom of the flatbed?

I worked on trying to figure the pesky turn signals out a little bit before work but for the life of me cant find the t/s flasher. the hazard light flasher is right there but the t/s flasher is hidden pretty good. I know ill feel retarded when i find it. Changed brake lights to LED bulbs and put the steering wheel back on, even though now i have to take it right back off . I will resume in the mornin. I CANNOT wait till I get these figured out because other than the lights and insurance its roadworthy, so far.

Replaced 8 glow plugs. Upon restart I got SEL code p0274 and p0276 indicating #5 and #6 injector issues. Is that an electrical grounding/short issue or something more serious?

I did a intake/carb swap on my 1973 360. Went from a 4 barrel to a 2 (needed the 4 for my other project a 1970 Galaxie 500 fastback). Cleaned the Brown Beast out and went over my plethora of intake manifolds (I have two 2 barrels and one 4 barrel intake if anyone is interested...all cast iron.) I have plans for tommorow to do some pinstriping and maybe a racing stripe since the weather is nice here for once. I am also planning on selling it soon just a heads up if anyone's lookin.
