I am currently working on my 4x4 frame to put my 2x4 cab and box on it.Took the old cab off the 4x4 frame today.I'd insert a pic but I dont know how,its in my album tho!

 

Can you come down here and gimme a hand with my swap when I get the stuff ready?

at some point I'm gonna be doing an entire body swap, my entire cab is rotted out, and the bed is getting to be the same way.......gonna be setting it on poly bushings, and going to have the entire body painted before the swap

and I live in Cheyenne.

Sweet ya I could help you out,is it a reg cab cuz i got a solid cab you could have if you wanted to come get it.good floors in it just one cab corner needs replaced.I got it on ebay right now but i can take it off.

 

OK WyoExplorer, here are some pictures of the emblems I just got. First is the one that was on the passenger side. I got this off of flEbay about a year ago. When I go the truck it was missing the F150 custom emblem on the right side, and the EXPLORER emblem on the driver's side.



This is the new one.



This is the two EXPLORER emblems I just got this week, they are used, and repainted with gloss black, but I couldn't pass them up for $4.



This one I got off the guy I got my rear slider off of, I repainted it, as ALL the paint was gone. I waxed the letters, put three thin coats of self etching primer on and then painted it with semi-gloss black paint. I then used a razor blade and scraped the paint off of the letters. I then pre heated the oven to 100 degress, and placed them in and let them cool to room temp. I was pleased with how they turned out. I paid $5 for the pair, and all I needed to do was paint them.



This is the other emblem that goes on the driver's side.

 

wow Tees, those look great, I'm going to have to pursue whether I wanna stay tag-less, or mount tags......hmm anyways, thanks for showing me that, they look great.

 

DC, or LMC have them for about $40 or so. I got these off of flEbay and with shipping, they were $23.75 each. I have seen them at the Carlisle car shows going for $80 for a pair, and they won't split them up.
