Finally received the proper size bolt for the alternator bracket, got the rebuilt Powermaster installed and fired her up. 13 volts and looking great, not so happy neighbour in hearing the beast fire up who calls the police to complain. 20 minutes talking trucks with the officer made it a perfect day.

trouble shooting dome light, cargo light issues. Pulled my dixie horn from the mud truck, and hooked it up in the daily driver... might as well have it in something I actually drive.

Put an Edlebrock intake manifold, carb, and air cleaner on my '78. Fixed my problems and it looks good.

Took a trip down to Summit Racing, and picked up a Gear Reduction Mini Starter, Copper Header Gaskets, and 850 amp Battery.

DS Door

Finally got around to changing out the DS door I've had sitting in my kitchen for almost 2 years now. Still have to do the passenger side.

I sprayed pb blaster on my distributor and tapped on it with a hammer for the 4th day ina row... one day that thing might actually come loose... also pb blastered all the body hinges and pivot points, sure makes a difference openin the hood..

My distributor is pretty solidly stuck in place as well. I'm going to start spraying with penetrating oil - it's a good idea!

I got the passenger side fenderwell header installed, both sides of the exhaust finished up, and fixed a bunch of vacuum stupidness that the previous owner had done.

Runs better now! Just waiting on the alternator bracket, then it'll be ready for action again!

Purchased some more much-needed parts for her!

It'll be nice to start working on her again this coming weekend
