Was under truck and noticed a teltale drop of oil on my bell housing. Repaired less that 3 weeks ago for the same thing, replaced some o'rings on turbo. Took my $100 . Well took it back this morning and let them know I would be one unhappy customer if the even mentioned a deductible. Well I did say it with a smile and we kinda kidded around but I'm sure he knew I was serious. I knew it wasn't the turbo o'rings cause oil was only on bottom of bell housing unless it can leak from above and enter bell housing and roll down inside. Anyway transmission coming out tomorrow will let everyone know what they find. Any comments appreciated.

Unfortantely no words of wisdom here... Ford replaced my '05 engine for oil leaks because of excessive driveshaft play. Bell housing was dry for ~45k miles with new engine, until I switched to Shell synthetic and boom, got the bell housing oil drip again. Two engines and leaked! I guess these engines didn't get the "6 leaker" for no reason.

They should have put dye in the oil, ran it for a while, and then use a light to see where the leak, or trail from the leak, is going. In my case I'll get a drop or two on the bell housing which they trace back to the cam sensor o-rings. They replace the o-rings, I am good for 60,000-70,000 miles, and the same leak comes back. We repeat the whole process and replace the same o-rings. I would rather have easily fixed o-rings fail than a bed plate or seals.
