What does this mean ????

I have a 2005 supercrew with 157000 km (97555 miles) and would like to know why i have absolutely no soot on my exhaust tip ? the only upgrade i have done is a magna flow 4 inch exhaust ( turbo- back) 2 years ago and i use power service additve (mixed to the directions). I also tried different fuel (ie:esso, petro-canada). Not exact on when all this started but but noticed it last fall. Everything else seems fine with lots of power and good fuel mileage. Any thoughts would be great!!!!

Sounds like you have a good running truck to me. Don't mess with success.

+1 on what 69cj said for sure. What are your routine maintenance practices (filters, fluids, frequency, etc.)? What kind of fuel economy do you get? 4x4? Differential ratio?

Another way to do a quick check on how well everyting is running would be to pull the EGR valve and see what it looks like.

well it could mean that a supercrew is an f150 and therefore you have a gasser, or maybe it runs real good

yeah my air filter is still factory as far as i know. i bought it used with about 50k miles, its at 97k now. the filter minder does work(i tested it) still shows no restriction. so unless the original owner changed it before trading it, its factory
