senix, I had the same problem with a 2004 F-150 that I just traded in on my SD. I was driving across a corn field with about 1-1.5 feet of snow and the brake light and the abs light came on and stayed on until I shut the truck off and when I started it the abs light was on for about 1 minute then went out. No problems at all with braking performance throughout this. Think maybe a sensor got wet and didn't like it?
Hey senix its your battery's.If you haven't changed them then that is one of the first things you notice(besides not starting).I'm sure you have at least one battery going bad.Hope this helps
Senix,I had the same light comming on for a couple of days before the seatbelt and wrench light started comming on and off.I had the batteries load tested and the driver side was only 350cc amps and the passenger at 650cc amps (if I remember).I had them changed and never saw any of the lights again.
well batteries are just fine. Yes they are still the original ones but they are good. Washed things down today, I had alot of snow pack all around the axles and everything. So I truely think it was just a communication error.
Well senix that blew my answer out of the water!LOL!!. It may have just been the snow.Let us know if you find what the problem was if it ever happens again.
Well it really was a quick check and that does seem to be the pattern with the batteries. Just not in my case. But I am also unique in that I never seem to have issues with snow in AF or CAC issues either.
