I'll buy it and you can have them, I would rather it be a SRW anyway. It is a little radical, I would own it just to have a little bit "rad' in my life. lol

I've got just nearly the exact truck as this one, only not a dump, and it sure seems to be a factory or i guess a dealer conversion, the ball&sockets hubs are huge, much larger than a stock dana 44,has 3 fuel tanks, has farm&ranch emblems,if there a conversion, you can't tell the diffrence from factory, got to be pretty rare trucks, along with my 78 F-350 4x4 Supercab
well mine started life as a 72 f-250 4x4. I swapped out the rear d60 for a dually d70 from a 76 2wd f-350 crewcab . and got the front dually wheel adapters from the wrecking yard where i work . along with the f-350 badges . the dump bed kit i got from northen tool catalog . the flat bed was custom made by a friend . my old boss gave me the plow .I had to get the frame mount cost me $800 and all the electrical switches an wiring . so I didn't change the wheel base at all
I can't tell at all if this one has been built custom or a conversion,it has that real long wheelbase too,was bought new in Bellingham by a big cow ranch in Mt vernon, and was trashed abit by his Mexican workers,I picked it up for $900,I looked all over the thing to see if there's any ugly welding or cheap installation, looks bone stock to me,i need to get it into the other shop and work on it,it does have a 78-9 grill shell in it,but the vin comes up a 73

That 78 F-350 4x4 Supercab would be very rare considering they never made them.
I don't even have to look that VIN up. X35 designates a 2 wheel drive 1 ton truck. First year for a 1 ton 4x4 was in 79, the VIN would be X36 for a 1 ton 4wd supercab.
Someone has pieced together a truck for you.
A true 1 ton 4x4 Supercab VIN, located on passenger side frame rail.
