With all the snow we have received It looks like I will not be putting on my new Stancor GPR in anytime soon. My old one totally crapped out. No voltage to the other side. A few of you said to just short the posts to heat the GP's. What nobody said, and I didn't ask was, do you have the key on or off? I have been doing it with the key on, hopefully I haven't hurt anything. I can't wait for warm weather so I can do some real work on this truck!
Thanks in advance again!!
Yea, 24" of snow, with more 5-6Ft drifts, had to break out the 963c to plow my driveway the snow was so high. Gotta love MD! Those guys got you set straight, knock it out when you can, till then, short the terminals and that will get you going. Guy at my work has been shorting the GPR for over a year now... Such an easy job too.
