I am looking for a programmer for my 1995 F350 dually. I was wondering if anyone here has had experience witht he Edge Evolution EEF1000. I am finding them for around 350 dollars and just wanted some input on if this would be a good programmer.
B.T.W. My truck is stock, but I am planning on a 3" dp and 4" straight exhaust, the napa 6637 intake mod, and maybe some injectors. If that has any influence on it.
Most here say the edge will produce pretty high egt's and isn't that impressive. Why not get a custom chip? If you talk to jim at rosewood diesel he has php chips less than that and are much better. He also has injectors too. You'd like them, I do.
junk! save your money and put it towards a custom chip that will actually help your truck, mileage and shift points. not very much good has been said about edge, they sell canned tunes ready to go for each truck, not made for each PCM code and individual truck. speaking of crapping on edge, read this lol just found it when browsing!
Anything that is Edge, or Quadzillia, or Diablo, there all a 'Universal' tune. I would recommend Jim Rosewood. He has a ton of tunes you can pick from to put on your 5 position chip. I know when I get the money the first thing I am getting is a chip from Jim, then a DP, and then some a Jim's injectors. Plus as 427 mentioned Jim PHP chip is cheaper then that Edge Box.
