HBRN, not so much. I have a resource for just about anything you can think of on these trucks, and in life for that matter. And there is a few reasons for it.

First and foremost I like to think of myself as a people person. And I don't have "fair weather" friends. Friends are the most valuable thing you can have in this world next to your family. And I NEVER take a friend for granted. So if you are friends with me, your stuck with me for life. LOL

Next, every opportunity I have, I go above and beyond to try and help people that need it from me. I don't half azz anything. Even if it means I have to suffer for it.

And last, these days, honesty and integrity are hard to come by. And it seem like a man's word means less and less in todays world. So with that, I will go out of the way to prove that my word still DOES mean something. Again, even if I come up on the short end of the deal, I'll stick to my word. And if for some reason I can't, I make dam sure you know why, and the first thing on my mind is how to make it up to you.

I realize this is a long winded answer for what could have been a plain ole "LOL". But you asked, and I wanted to give you the correct answer. And honestly, the key to all my contacts and "in's".......is communication, period. The thing you gotta remember, all these people that run companys like DIY-Injectors, DP-Tuner, Terminator Engineering, Valair Clutch, Swamps, Beans, DI, WOP, and all the way down to your local parts store.........They are just people, and people like 4 things, Respect, money, a good reputation and a laugh. And you can't exchange any of that unless you talk to them. So instead of wondering, or taking someones word for it, I make that contact. They are normal people and even if you are the newest of the newbys, they WANT to talk to you. They want the opportunity to make you a life customer, and or friend. And I open the door so that can happen. And when it does, I don't take it for granted. I hope that makes sense.

But there is an extremely easy answer if you want great contacts in life....

If it's a woman your talking to, address her first with respect, and then make here feel like she's the smartest, funniest, best looking woman in the world. Even if she clearly is not. And I don't mean make her feel like your a sexist pig. Respect

If it's a man you are talking to, address him first with respect, and then make him feel like he's the smartest, funniest guy, and has the coolest toys/tools/stuff in the world, even if yours is waaaaay cooler. And above all with a guy, NEVER screw up his story with one you think is better. Don't be that guy that that's done it harder, faster, longer and better than anyone. If you have, those things will prove themselves and you'll rarely have to tell a story. And when that time comes, they will be on the edge of their seat.

And when none of that stuff works, just do something completely stupid and off the wall so they remember your name. LOL Sorry for the long answer.

I have the modded pump, aslo 97 PSD has it too on an OBS, and HuckA1A has it too. Huck and 97 PSD saw a big help fixed all their oil problems. My single shot 180cc's actually require more oil than the mod will supply. It does good with stock and stage I injectors.

Joey is a great guy and will help all he can. Just send in a pump and he will mod it for you. Huck's pump was worn out but Jody fixed it and modded it for the same price as well. Great customer service. He modded my pump and shipped it the same day he received it. Just get in touch with him he will help you out. He hangs out in another forum quite a bit. PM me if you want to know which one. I don't want to post it here.

I think stage 1's dont need an upgraded pump unless the one you have isn't working properly. Otherwise I think you can run the stock pump with 1's

I am also lucky enough to have dealt with Joey and got my pump modded. Great guy to deal with and like cody said... you'll love the price.

Great proverbs Cody...

This is soo true that if you do not act like cody is talking about. Hit yourself and start over on the right path to proper networking.
I have a lot of friends in lots of places for lots of things. Just none really for diesels, thats all you guys.

Networking is what cody is talking about, and its the most important thing you can do.
And yes. If you cannot get any respect from them, do something stupid so they remember you. Thats the main thing, make them remember you. If you do something stupid, they will see you doing something respectful at some point, and they will remember you, and your in! Get it? Good.
Do it.

And laughter is one of the best tactics.

I can throw a CEL with my stage 1's from Jim.
Looking at pump upgrade.

My biggest question on the upgraded pumps is.
Do they replace the journal bearings with Ball Bearings for the upgrades?

as far as I know there is not an upgrade for the 15*, and if you do have a strong stock pump stage 1s will be good but I don't think they will live up to their full potential on hot tunes without a pump upgrade. Joey actually suggested hybrids if I decide to change injectors. when we data logged mine after the pump change I maintained a steady 3100 psi in the race tune, granted I only have stock sticks, but it nice to know that I have plenty of oil!! I guess sticks are next on the list!! definitely give Joey a call when you are thinking about a modded hpop, he is awesome to deal with and patient with all of your questions

I hope its the same pump, I was under the impression it was the same pump. That is the same year pump I picked up for my 96'. If not I guess I just wasted a good chunk of change for the pump and mod.

pretty darn good Richard. I didnt get on board with Jims group buy for the scan gauge so i have no live data. but there are no "flat" spots, neither does she "drop off" at a certain RPM. Just keeps pullin!! they are 238cc w/ .008 nozzles. not sure what % that converts to. maybe 80%???

That is great to hear, I want to run either 238/100's or 250/80's (100's? maybe) and don't want to have to run some redicuolusly expensive HPOP to keep fueling. I would like to see some live data with your combo and your injectors with an adrenaline, cuz those are the pumps I'm thinking of.
