e40d tranny question
hey guys. my od light is flashing and boggs my engine when i put shifter
in reverse or drive. i cleaned the sensor in differential. i have new
filter and fluid. level shows full when engine warm. i have been told its
a bad torque converter. how long does it take to pull tranny and replace
converter. i have done it on cars and vans , but not a 7.3 diesel.

as stated already you need to pull the codes.
that said, the fact that it "bogs teh engine" makes it sound liek the converter clutch is engaging to me which also tells me that you have low line pressure. not a good sign
