Oh, trust me, my truck hasn't been washed since late fall. Its just that the salt buildup is starting to be more obvious now and I flinch anytime I accidentally brush up against it and dig the salt into the clear-coat.

I went to the dealership today to retrieve my tuner, and had my first look at my van (still up on the lift) with my wheels mounted on it.
I asked 'where are the chrome tophats for the hubs?'
What tophats he says?

I drop off the tuner with the guy I bought it from.
He asks me what is my four digit ECM code?
I said heck if I know anymore, look it up in your records from when you sold me the tuner and you programmed it.
He replys, I don't maintain customer records for the tuners.
I said well you can call the dealership again, and deal with the aggravation like when I first bought this thing.
He walks off saying he'll figure it out.

Finally washed my truck. Even ran the sprinkler under it to wash off all the salt from the under carriage. Now I feel soooo much better.
