TS Performance MP-8
I have an 06 F250 with a 6 liter and 63k miles on it. I have a TS performance MP-8 installed and have had it for 2 years. About 6 months ago I took it in because the truck was surging at steady speeds. For example when the cruise control was set to 65 it would surge up and down constantly. I took it to the dealer and they replaced a bad EGR valve but they also said my chip was causing bad fault readings. I sent the chip back to get it reprogrammed and then re installed it. a few months later while I was accelerating (I was not accelerating hard or anything) the check engine light came on. This time it was an IPC sensor. I got it fixed and 2 weeks later same thing however this time they say it is some sort of pump for the fuel? I am completley ignorant when it comes to diesels. The mechanic thinks this may be related to my chip. I am not sure what to think. Has anyone else had any issues like this? what do you all think about the MP-8? should I just can it and get a bully dog or something like that? One other note I have a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires so without the chip it is kind of a dog.
