There's a '48 running around the area here that's done well like this, but I've yet to get a picture of it. When I do.... probably in another 4 months when cruises commence again, I'll post.
First time I saw one of the grill guards chromed. Looks nice, it disappears more than a black one would against the lighter blue. Wish I would have picked the one up I found for $75 now....

I've got a black one you can have for less than $75. It's not perfect, but good for a driver. It's painted a two-stage black color now.
I appreciate the offer on the grill guard. I've been thinking again about going tilt up front and the guard wouldn't allow that. That's one of the issues with down time working on the truck - weather here. The more time I have to think, I come up with changes and postpone getting it done even longer.
