Maybe because I spelled it wrong, LMAO. Supposed to be "pics". Didn't see the pic because when I clicked the thread under "new posts/threads" it went straight to the 2nd page. I'll try and find the gif that quote comes from, it'll make sense.

My mistake, I was just trying to say I don't want mirrors that 100% manual.

Got it.

I never said that. I said the 08+ mirrors cost nearly $1000 for the pair, or at least they did the last time I looked. That was probably close to a year ago. Even the nicer older style tow mirrors are $300/pair. The link posted is $160 for only one side.

After I broke mine I picked up a pair of towing mirrors for less than $150 from the local scrapyard/pick-n-pull. The ones without the blinkers (pre-02) are alot cheaper.

Explinations in quote.

I realize now that I must've gotten the wrong impression off your other post. Please accept my apology. I guess I am a little aggressive today...maybe I should go run it off on the treadmill...

What you said about getting yours from a pick-n-pull...that is exactly what I am going to try to do once I get around to it. either that or scavenge them off a parts truck on ebay.

I was actually thinking getting the regular/non-chrome ones and then getting thempaint matched like the factory platinum ones, if that's ok with you of course........

well...you've taken pretty good care of it so far...so who am I to say?

As far as shooting, that's a good question for the TN boys. There has to be...it is TN after all. An outdoor range would be optimal. If I get the chance to drive I can bring a few of my arsenal.

Yeah, I actually saw a newer red truck with the chrome package the other day, looked ok. But I like how the darker colors (charcoal and black trim) contrasts with the red but I can't give up all my chrome. I also like how harley lights look on a lot of the trucks I see them on, but they all are darker colored gray dk blue black etc. Seen a few on white trucks and didn't care for it too much. Never really been able to see any on a red truck. I guess I coudl get them and try and sell them if I don't like them.
