Cold weather kits
With all the sub zero weather in the midwest diesel starting and running issues seem to be a hot topic. My question is does any one make a cold weather kit for the Ford F series Super Duty. Mine is a 2007 with the 6.0 PSD. I have seen somewhere that these trucks come with a heated fuel filter system to heat the fuel before going to the injectors. Is this true? Now by cold weather kits I mean heated fuel lines or in tank heaters or whatever. If so who makes them and who has tried them and how well do they work. My truck sits out in this weather unfortunatly. It has the block heater and is plugged in most of the time in winter and has plenty of anti gell in the fuel. I am just looking for a bit more peace of mind I guess.

The earlier HFCM's (primary fuel filter and pump unit) used to have a heater. The later model years (05 and up I believe) do not have the heaters in them.
I have never seen any posts on cold weather kits such as you describe.
