Hot stalling

I just changed my spark plugs and now my truck wants to continuously stall out when it gets warmed up. Until its warm... it runs fine. After I can barely keep it running to get three miles if there are any stops or yields or having to slow down... The codes say possible vacuum leak, dirty throttle body, IAC motor defective, or poor connection to the IAC valve. What can I do to fix my poor truck?!

I only disconnected the black connectors to the sparkplugs and the gray connectors next to a couple of the plugs. I also disconnected one large line that goes into the top of the head on the left side, if you are chest to grill. I made sure that was reconnected well.
It was troubleshooting code P0506

According the to the Service Manual, this code points to the IAC which is part of TB. If I were you I'd take off the TB and thoroughly clean it. Also, there are two connectors that go into the throttle body, one on each side. Try re-seating both.

I didn't take it completely off yet due to needing gaskets and someone told me there are small parts similar to the carbureter so I wouldn't have a vehicle to get the gaskets... lol but I did clean it out and its running great right now! Should I go get a kit and take it off anyway?

Is this a 5.4 or 4.6? If it's running good you might leave well enough alone. I tool mine completey off last month...no small parts and I used the same gasket. Actually, the gasket was seated on the intake so it didn't even move.

its a 4.6 v8. I like to go by the old saying... "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"... and since these newer vehicles are made to discourage doing it yourself...lol...i figured it would be more hassel than its worth especially since my truck has now essentially been out of commission for three days now due to a bad sparkplug...god only knows what I would break taking that off...what do you think... leave it for now?
