I know this is a Ford TRUCK forum so I will be asking about my TRUCK......
97 3.0 , starts fine, although after initial start up and warm up, tach never goes below 1000 RPM. (It used to sit at around 700rpm after warm up). When I go into reverse or drive the VEHICLE stalls. Starts right back up again, but stalls in rev. or drive.
Is this an IAC problem? I removed the IAC and cleaned all of the snot and carbon out of it. I can move the "plunger", it doesn't feel "stuck" Any thing else I can look at?
As usual all ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
