I recently had the OD light flash on the shifter- it happened a couple times, but I never noticed any changes in performance-
Took the truck to the local garage and asked the guy to just pull the codes for me-
He told me P0722, output shaft speed sensor, no signal
and P1832, Tcase differential lock up solenoid fault
These were the only two codes found -
What do I do now? Is this something that should be taken to a shop for, or can I do the repairs myself?
Any help would be appreciate
The Output Speed Sensor is located on top of the trans at the rear of the trans. Either the sensor is bad or the wiring to the sensor is bad. It's not hard to change the sensor. There is one bolt that holds it in place.
