Excursion In Limp mode - numerous fault codes
While driving today it went into limp mode and the engine management lit up and o/d light started blinking.
I managed to slowly get home and have borrowed a scanner to look for fault codes.
The codes I got are p1000 p0740 p0743 po755 po758 p1747 p1754 p1760 p0446 p0443 p0135 p0141 p0155
Do you have any idea what could be causing these codes.
Ive checked the wiring loom and it doesn't seem to have rubbed the exhaust or chaffed anything.
All fuses under the dashboard are also fine.
The Excursion starts up and runs well in neutral. It is certainly running on 10 cylinders and all seems to sound correct.
Many thanks in advance and apologies for seeking help on my first post.

I have recently fitted a new water pump (ac delco) and motorcraft thermostat a few thousand miles ago.
I am currently searching through the old threads.
Im amazed at the information on here, its really helpful..
p1000 Monitors not set
p0446 Evap Canister Vent Solenoid Circuit
p0443 Evap Canister Purge Circuit
p0135 HO2S Circuit Sensor 1 Bank 1
p0141 HO2S Circuit Sensor 1 Bank 2
p0155 HO2S Circuit Sensor 2 Bank 1
p0744 TCC Solenoid Circuit Open
p0743 TCC Solenoid Circuit Open
p0755 SSPC-B Overdrive Clutch
p0758 SSPC-B Overdrive Clutch
The other codes I have no info on.
Has the light been on for a while? Maybe the Evap and O2 sensor codes have been there for a while and now it is having a trans problem? If all these codes started at the same time I would have to be thinking about what is related to all the circuits. Maybe clear the codes and drive it and see what comes back as a place to start.
From the list of codes and the wide range I would recommend you look for a wiring harness issue, before you start throwing parts at it. If you only had a few that were for for one area, I would suspect only a single bad sensor or item.

Although it had enough power to initially start the engine it was struggling under load.
A new battery was fitted today and the fault codes cleared.
The excursion is back to normal now with engine management / overdrive lights out and no longer in limp mode.
Ive done 100 miles today without an issue so fingers crossed hopefully that was the issue.

Replacement of the battery, IMHO, is not a logical repair for the fault. I suspect that there is an underlying loose or corroded connection that will return....
You might want to check the performance of your alternator while you're at it.
