pcv valve hose ??
supposed to be connected to the manifold.
I have a 360 with a stock four barrel intake
with a Holley600 cfm vacuum secondary. I
currently have the hose connected to a port
on the rear of the carb. I think this may
be causing my rear plugs to indicate a lean
fuel mixture??
Thanks

Mark the `hose` does connect to the Back of the carb. The PVC valve is in the valve cover opening.
If you think of the PVC valve as a `Controled Vacuum Leak` and it is going to the back barrels you may be right. Its been a while since I looked at the bottom of a 600 holley BUT the passages should be `split` to feed the controled leak to the front barrels also. I had to use a spacer under my 600 holley on the stock manifold to get the Gasket to seal. Just setting the carb down on the manifold produced a passage that was open to the manifold!! And the gasket would not seal it up! AKA >> Lean Condition!
