Will a Cylinder contribution test help eliminate injector orings?

We have a pink Barbie jeep or a 50cc four wheeler you can borrow for a few days!
My gut is telling me your turbo somehow failed... When do you think you'll have time to look it over?

If you have AE or a scan gauge I would run all the tests you can. KOER, Cylinder Contribution, Buzz test...

I don't know if it will tell you if an oring is bad though... I doubt you have an Oring issue? How is your ICP #'s? Do they look ok?

Mike i bought mine new back in 07. So it probably only has about 30,000 miles on it.

If it was an injector oring, wouldnt it leak down the HPO Reservoir?

When i put AE on the truck about a week ago, my ICP maintained 2950 psi at 37% DC.

So like i said, if i had an oring, couldnt it cause a hard start issue?

Well, i definitely have some good smoke, when i give it some throttle, it smokes like a freight train. and cruising it is smoking but not as bad. but it seems to be starting fine.

If it was an injector o ring leaking wouldn't it be a phantom oil leak and show up in the fuel filter?

Good point Grant.. Anyone?

I inspected the truck some more here at the house, and im not getting oil where the exhaust manifold and uppipes mate at. The smoke is just a slight haze when cruising but when i give it some throttle, the cloud of blue smoke is heavy. trucks starts fine, and idles fine, doesnt seem to have a miss. Im leaning towards turbo oring failure

that is true, since the orings separate the oil to the fuel then down to the cylinders...

that is a good point since you would probably see an oil leak where the manifold and the up pipes meet. I am leaning towards the turbo too... sounds like maybe the seal for the BB cartridge ..
