g'mornin'!!! I'm hoping we actually get the snow they're calling for, and then some!! My gf is telling me she heard 8", but I've only heard/read 5". Whatever, the more the better!! No more rain!! After the past few months I've been considering moving to the Gobi desert!!

4 wheel drive is down -and I have a snow contract in DC -and when it snows heavy I got to shovel the roof here -lose power no heat other than wood stove -I'm darned near 50 -NO I'm not looking foward to it at all 
that and everyone with a phone when this kinda stuff happens -calls good old Jr for help or rides or what ever they need-gonna be one bad weekend for me

Sorry to hear about the 4WD being down; parts issue or just need an extra set of hands?
I'm used to the calls for help too, but I used to drive rather "spirited" in the snow, so that tends to weed out the mooches.
Now when I drift an 8,000lb truck they don't want to be in the same county as me!!

Update on amounts for most of our area....
ACCUMULATIONS... HEAVY SNOW WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 10 INCHES THROUGH SUNSET SATURDAY. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE... MAINLY IN OR NEAR SOUTHERN MARYLAND. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT.
Looks like it's a real thing....guess I'll finally get to use my 5 year old (brand new) snowblower!
