Say Ms. Arlene, my sister is going to send me a reipe that was our grandmothers. It's for something called Fondant(?). Never knew what it was called, just know I never used to be able to get enough of it when I was a kid. Looks like powdered sugar. Chunks of stuff about the size of ½ a " bite size " candy bar. Will send you a copy when I get it. Let me know what you think when you get it. Will be sometime after Christmas, possibly after New Years.

Arlene my street use to be one of the first streets plowed by the county because the MTA buses use to run down my street. Now that they dont the county figures we can wait awhile now.

well, being a country road, we're last of the last... understandable, I guess, but makes it dangerous trying to get anywhere.

we have 2 roads near my house that dont get touched by a plow or a salt truck until after the strom is over because they are cul-de-sacs.

Shaun, thanks for the info. Was trying to describe it to her this afternoon & that is what she said it was. I notice the definition says " very sweet '. That sounds about right. I don't remember much about it, but that sweet part sounds right.

well guys no search party needed -I'm home-to Dc and back in a 2 wheel drive truck
my back is shot -shovel out my driveway then shovel 8 addresses-oh I forgot I shoveled my roof off this morning too
