changing fuel injectors

a buddy of mine has an 06' that the local diesel mechanic has diagnosted with a bad injector.... he said that in his experience with 6.0s you r better off just to change all 8? we were thinking about tackling this project ourselves if for nothing else just to learn about the engine! ive done a fair amount of wrenching but never much on new diesels. how much of a project is this really? and what does it actually involve? thanx alot!

There are two injector threads in the Tech Folder. One near the top and the other near the bottom. It would probably benefit you to read both of them before changing injectors.
