My driver side heated seat on my 06 f-250 isn't working, the light comes on but my butt stays cold..... Could it be a fuse or something simple? Or do I need to take it and let Ford deal with it?
Mine did that right after I had both batteries replaced. The fuses were good and if your light is coming on, yours should be good too. I took it in and got both replaced under warranty.
The passenger side will run u out of the seat its just the driver side I'm having problems and what warranty are they covered on. I have a 10 year 100,000 mile but everything isn't covered under that.... I have 98,000 miles on my truck.
Mine were covered under the ESP. I've got the Premium Care ESP on mine. My driver's seat was weak before the battery change anyways but the passenger seat would toast you. After the batteries, they both quit working so they replaced both. Not sure what the cost is without the warranty.
I dug around on a few parts sites but couldn't find a price for the heat pad that goes in the seat. They aren't hard to change out. I was there when they did mine and it's actually plug and play simple. Hardest part is rolling the seat cover off to get to the heat pad and then putting it back on.
