Replacement Door Panels

Hi everyone... I have been surfing the net for several days now and cannot find anything remotely close to what I am looking for.

I have a 2004 STX with manual EVERYTHING! locks, windows, and side rearview mirrors. It is time to turn the base model truck into something fun. I have started creating the list for upgrades and wanted switch everything from manual to power. I know there are kits that turn manual windows into power but I hate the way all the toggles look. (very cheap & aftermarket)

So I really would like to find a stock door panel with power window, locks, and side mirror toggles. Maybe I am not searching the right keywords? (2004 F150 interior door panel replacment) or there is really nothing out there. The main return I get when searching is just how to remove the panel.

I did find on ebay 1 set of the panels but they were,
a. the wrong color (I am looking for grey) and
b. for the 4-door F150, which has 4 window toggles (I have the 2 door with the smaller rear suicide doors)

I would prefer to purchase new panels so they wont come with any scuffs but if hard pressed I can settle for used.

if anyone can point me in the right direction or know 'some guy' to help me that would be awesome... thanks.

Have you tried Car-Part.com? I know it's used stuff but at least you can look at it first to see if it's what your looking for.

I'm (almost) certain that Ford parts will have exactly what you're looking for. Try the link at the top of the page for FTE Parts Guy. Knowing Ford parts, you may have to get a half dozen or so components to create a complete panel but it will be factory perfect.

Just checked, you can find them under "Front Door"..........bring your wallet and some ether, a little pricey.

Thank you LMS Resi.

That is exactly what I am looking for. You are correct about it being pricey but to have it look factory this is what I expected.

That is half the battle with projects...getting past sticker shock on the prices of the goodies.

You might also get lucky at some local junkyards. Even if the outside of the door is jacked up the internals you are after could be fine.

Hey Albus, I see that you are in Houston. I am also, do you know of any junkyards around here that might carry what I am looking for?

Again I am not too concerned with pricing as I would rather have quality. I have priced the upgrades I am looking at and it will be around 10k. (wheels, tires, brakes, interior)

Thanks again.

Haven't been to a junk yard since I had to replace the piece of plastic in the steering wheel of my El Camino that separates the horn contact plates after I punched it. Yeah I was that dumb when I was younger. Just don't ask db_tanker about changing the clutch on it.

Pick A Part on North Drennan. Used to work next door to it like 10 years ago. A few up in Conroe where I was living at the time.

If nothing else they might have a few of the pieces in good shape here and there. The prices on brand new parts can be stupid high for molded plastic bits.

If you want to search the junk yards then use car-parts.com choose your year and what your looking for and it will search all the wreckers in your area and let you know what they have.
