ok so saw sum bombers talkin bout some tony wildman and the chips he does. so i cheked out the website and it seems nice. u can custome tune your chip and for what i wanted was around 400. ive never heard of this before tho and my step dad has super chip and i dont like it so i was wanting bully dog triple dog. got a friend who had it and he LOVED it. everyone who has bully dog says its the best chip around. and these dudes was saying thisTDP 6 pos chip crap was the best. any of yall got opinions on this? what is better? thanks....
If this is for the 2001 7.3 in your profile then I would either suggest the Tony chip or the DP Tuner chip. I wouldn't do Bullydog. I had the triple dog(now this was for a 6.0, not a 7.3), but the truck didn't like the more extreme tunes particularly the tranny.
If you were to take this down to the 7.3 forum, I would imagine that they would more then likely recommend DP first, then Tony, and finally BullyDog. That's the order in which I would rank them anyway.
thanks and yeah its for the 7.3 i really dont want to run more extreme tunes on my truck rite now. i just ordered my intake and getting exhaust soon so i will only do a max of like 70 hp rite now untill i do work with the tranny and injectors
Tony Wildman, DP Tuner, and Power Hungry Performance are all very good chips for the 7.3
Great tunes and great support. I just ordered a PHP chip for my '95 PSD.
I hear good things about Spartan Tunes for the Superduties also

Tony's a wonderful, honest person and a fantastic tuner. I don't think you'd be disappointed with one of his chips.
