DP Chip / Bully Dog Chip
I have been reading up on chip's and my head hurts. Any way I'm liking what every one is saying about Jody's chips, and I'm thinking it's time for a new chip.
I have a Bull Dog 75hp chip in my truck now thats about 2 years old, and I'm looking at getting a 60Hhp tow safe chip, and maybe adding the 80hp econo for DP.
My question is are todays chips better? will I notice a difference with DP 60hp chip VS my 75hp bully dog chip? Right now the BD chip is working fine it tows the mountain passes pusshing around 1100* doing 50mph witha 8000lb TT?

I think the newer chips offer some more flexablitiy, especially with multi postition chips. I am going to install a Bully Dog 6 pos chip tomorrow to replace a superchip that was installed from previous owner. Really wanted some tow specific tunes, and high idle tune. Jody tunes (DP-Tuner) are probably the best out there and are well known. Don't know how the bully dog would stand up to Jody's, but I have never heard anything bad about Jody's tunes, all good.

I don't know how the 60hp DP setting will compare to the 75hp BD setting, but I will say that the 80hp setting on my DP chip feels like it has a lot more go than the 85hp program did on my Predator. Jody is concerned with EGTs too.
