Red Neck Gauge.
I made mine for about 12 bucks.. I am a cheapo.. Little 1.5" gauge. $6 and some fittings/hose. In the picture don't mind the x. It was the spot i put my switches. You can see the gauge in the pocket. Only picture i had of it and It shows that I wrapped it in foam so it stays put. Works well.
I found a good deal on a pair of gauges just last week on my local Craigslist. You might want to try looking there, and this will help narrow down your results:
1. Go to Google
2. In the search bar, type: boost gauge site:craigslist.org
3. Press the Enter key (lol)
What this does is tell google to search for both "boost" and "gauge" on craigslist.org.
I have an banks one in the garage, I took the set out a while ago because the trans temp guage didn't work very good but the boost seemed ok. You will just need to get a hose oif I can't find my old one. Let em know via PM
Sorry Andy I threw them away when I did spring cleaning.
your offer was awsome. Its things like that, that make this forum so great. I have patience and will find one. I may build a boost leak detector in the meantime to see if there is boost leak. If not, then I know I have a problem either building boost or spilling boost. I can hear the turbo spooling up (the whistle sound i quess). Makes me think the up pipes are tight. well see....
Brand new boost gauge with everything you need for hookup for 40 bucks... I actually am running the full triple set from them.... boost, pyro, and trans temp.. got them shipped to my door for under 200.. here's a link to my post.
