I am thinking about the same thing! Go to yahoo and punch in diesel injection services and go to their site! They have the pillar mounts and three brands of gauges. The auto meter looked the best with the two gauge pillar mount. Looks to be just over 200. To install? who knows! They have some tips and stuff!
Cost is a relative thing. Putting two or three guages in your '99PSD isn't that difficult, but if something goes wrong it would be nice to have someone to go to. You're still under warrantee, so I would recommend having a reputable dealer do the install. The total time for a three guage pod on the left pillar should run less than 3 hours. So, you spend upwards of $200 for the guages and another 120+ on labor. The guages work and you have piece of mind. I like that! By the way, you can buy vinyl paint to color match the pod to your truck's interior. Very simple procedure. Most full service parts houses carry interior vinyl paint in a full spectrum of colors. Good luck and enjoy your ride. Mike
