I dont know where to buy them but you can order a repair manual off ebay (only place i know of) to show you how.

For now i think your gonna be needing a good set of chalks. : )

What do the current shoes look like? Is there material on them? Or are they worn/broken off? Usually a "parking" brake doesn't see any wear so they shouldn't be worn. Unless they got gear lube on them

What year is the truck?

I know a local place here on Long Island that would probably be able to get them, or know where to go...

Did you try NAPA?

As Krewat said, you should be able to get the parking brake drum brakes shoes from NAPA.

Ford used this parking brake setup on big trucks for decades.

But...there are different sizes. The shoes could be 9" x 2" or 9" x 3" or? If I knew what year you have...I could prolly tell you.

PLEASE...when asking questions, list ALL the pertinent details.

The year, and the GVW...which on BIG trucks is very important when it comes to brake parts.

The GVW is found on the Warranty Plate thru 1980, on the Certification Label 1981 and later.

JOB LOT specializes in BIG Ford truck parts, is located in Queens NY (joblotauto.com). But like us here on FTE, they need to know the pertinent details before they can help you.

SHOP MANUALS: Depending on what year you have, original new genuine Ford manuals are available from helminc.com from the 1980's and later.

Prior to the 1980's, faxonautolit.com has used shop manuals and/or reprints of these manuals.

If NAPA doesn't have them and you live in a somewhat large city there is probably some place in town that can reline the shoes you have. Call around to some of the places that carry truck parts.

Ford dealers carry new shoes w/lining, and/or relined shoes. These come in a kit.

I have the in-house Ford Dealer Parts Locator System, which means I can list every FoMoCo Dealer in the US that carries these shoes (and every other car/truck part you can name).

But...without knowing the year of the truck, and what size the brake shoes are, I'm not typing dozens of Ford Dealers for each brake shoe kit part number.
