Loose window spring
Brand new '10 f350 crew 4x4 lariat 5.4 auto, only 1600 miles. I kept hearing a rattle when I closed right rear door. Sounded like something loose in bottom of door pan. I took door cover off, removed plastic film and found a large circular spring lying in the bottom of the door. I couldn't believe it because the window appeared to work fine. I took other side cover off to compare and found where it was supposed to go. I was able to re-install it myself with a screw driver and window still works fine. I couldn't believe it. I hope there are no loose parts left laying around in other places, like the engine, transmission, transfer case etc.
