Power Window Prob
Can anyone help me with how to remove and install drivers side window motor. I rolled the window down the other night and it wouldn't go back up. I can hear the motor running in both directions. I took the door panel off and looked at the cables and track system and it all looks fine. This is leading me to believe it is the motor. I did a search and couldn't find where anyone had detailed directions to remove the motor. It looks like you have to remove the whole cable pulley and track assembly to get the motor out, PLEASE TELL ME YOU DON"T HAVE TO DO THIS. Any help would be appreciated.

bamadave, I had the same problem with my window in my 2006 F-150, I almost went to the trouble to replace the motor, come to find out it was nothing but my driver side window switch. It might not be the case in your situation but its worth checking into before you spend the bucks on the window motor.
