I have a 2005 F250 P/S, I parked it at work yesterday and it won't start today. I'm stranded. I can hear fuel pump, It cranks but won't fire. One time it started for just a couple seconds. What can I check? I am in San Antonio if anyone is in the area.
2005--I'm betting your STC fitting on the HPOP gave it up. There is an upgraded fitting for it and if you're under 100K miles it's should still be under warranty. The other thing might be your FICM. If you can get it scanned for codes please do so and report back.
You would need to check the whole HPO system for a leak which requires a fitting and compressor to pressurize it with air. To check for fuel it's easier to remove the lid of the secondary fuel filter under the hood. When you say no codes did you scan it or it doesn't have a check engine light?
I sure wouldn't use starter fluid. Check out my thread in the Tech folder on troubleshooting a "no-start". There may be a few things in there you haven't tried yet.
